Shelby County State Bank is seeking an ideal candidate to fill an opening position within our Loan Department at our Main Bank located at 130 S. Morgan, Shelbyville, Illinois.
Position: Loan Processor
Position Type: Full-Time, Salary- Non-Exempt
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8am – 4pm; one hour paid lunch break
Work Location: Shelby County State Bank, Main Bank located at 130 S. Morgan, Shelbyville, IL 62565
The position of Loan Processor is responsible for performing routine and intermediate duties related to consumer and business loan applications; generate loan documentation for all types of loans; process consumer, commercial, real estate loan, escrow payments and advances on lines of credit; and promote business for the Bank by maintaining and offering quality customer service and referring customers to appropriate staff for additional products and services.

Minimum Qualifications include:
- High School or equivalent education
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and responsibly with customers and co-workers
- Must be able to work independently and uphold the highest of confidentiality
- Must be detail oriented, reliable, and team oriented
- Must be able to troubleshoot and handle difficult situations promptly and professionally
- Must have knowledge of Word, Excel, Microsoft Office & Outlook
